Tech Block® Floor Plans
Tech Block is very versatile and can be used with a wide range of floorplans.
Plan 568 - A 3600 s.f. 5-bedroom Santa Barbara style home with attached but separate guest suite with kitchenette. A 14 foot high vaulted ceiling, 16' wide arcadia doors, and kiva fireplace are the main features of the 480 s.f. great room which transitions into the kitchen via the breakfast bar. The gable ends and curved fascia also can be formed out of Tech Block, eliminating the need for excessive framing typically required to achieve these architectural elements.
Plan 570 - A 5200 s.f. 5-bedroom Spanish Colonial with gourmet kitchen and spacious great room with wall to wall glass, high ceilings, and clerestory windows. A large master suite opens onto a private patio. This design provides an excellent solution for lots with panoramic views and illustrates the versatility of Tech Block through its use of curved walls at the entry.
Plan 571 - A 4200 s.f. 5-bedroom Southwest Contemporary. This home was designed with entertainment in mind. A rock water fall parallels the front covered entry as it cascades into the pool below. The large galley style kitchen features a generous pantry, and breakfast bar and opens directly to the dining room via the butler pantry. The plan is open yet affords privacy through the use of isolated hallways leading to the bedrooms. Exterior embellishments such as building skirts, window sills, and wood headers are much easier to build into the Tech Block system than a conventionally framed home.
Plan 569 - A 5500 s.f. 5-bedroom mountainside Contemporary Prairie style 2-story home with grommet kitchen and spacious great room with a wet bar and 20 foot wide telescopic sliding glass door, high ceilings, and clerestory windows. Once up the grand staircase, natural light floods the hallway that leads to the large master suite. The main features of the master suite are a private balcony with a two-sided fireplace at the Jacuzzi tub. Hillside designs lend themselves to Tech Block construction. |
